“Long Island East End Sustainable Winegrowing” Gets Certified
The First Eastern U.S. sustainable certification program of vineyard is already in place.
Winemakers with sustainable practices like winegrowers of East End of Long Island have partnered to create a non profit organization, “Long Island Sustainable Wine Growing, Inc” The edge of “Long Island Sustainable Wine Growing, Inc” is to provide education and certification for sustainable practices of premium wine grapes growing on East End.
Wineries on long island could be a great sustainable paradigm and an add on value on New York wine and further more the New York History.
