Hydra island, is a famous Greek island, for its history since ancient times for its magic waterfalls that flowed there once. Is located in Argosaronic gulf, about an hour and half  by ferry  from Piraeus port of Athens. Hydra is also famous for its maritime history of the 18th century, the beautiful and colorful mansions lining all over the majestic hill, over viewing the scenic harbor. Hydra is a place of artist community from all over the world!    
Hydra is an Eco island even it is one of the most cosmopolitan islands today. Cars and motorcycles are banned from the island, so getting around could be either with a donkey, a mule or on foot.
