The city of Pavlopetri the underwater city, underwater of the coast of southern Laconia in Peloponnese, Greece, is about 5,000 years old. It is the oldest submerged archeological town site and its uniqueness lies  in the fact that the town has an almost complete town plan, including streets, buildings, and tombs.
