World Turtle Day, 23rd of May, will be celebrating by Athens Archelon Rescue Center on Sunday 27th May.
The event will take place at  Archelon’s Rescue Center, in Glyfada on  Sunday 27th May  from 11.00 to 14.00 ( 3rd  Marina of Glyfada / Tram stop Paleo Dimarhio).
During the day, a number of activities for adults and for children will offer to visitor’s great experiences and the opportunity to get closer with turtles.  

Training Kids

World Turtle Day by Archelon Rescue Center, emphasize the importance of training kids.Training next generations is the best way of  sea turtle’s protection.
 
A tour around turtle tanks, a number of documentaries and a lot of interactive activates as Arts & Grafts, Games, will enforce visitors to understand turtle’s way of living, they ways to protect turtles  and Archelon’s mission.  
World Turtle Day by Archelon entrance to event is Free.
Archelon Rescue Center also offers free entrance every Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 to 17.00

Turtle’s day reminds to all the need for protection of this long live ancient animal.
